AR-10, AR-15 Carry Handle Sight Modification
Now that AR-10 & AR-15 carry handles are legal for use as a CMP service rifle, there is a new demand for pinned rear sights.  Why handicap yourself with a clunky rear sight just because it's on a carry handle when you can get match rifle accuracy and repeatability out of your carry handle sight just as you can in a standard A2 upper??
These carry handles can be serviced and turned around quickly back to the customer!

***Special Note Regarding Carry Handle Specific Sights***
A carry handle uses a specific sight with a shorter elevation screw and a shorter sight base which is designed to work with the clearance allowed between the sight height and the picatinny rail on the standard  flat top receiver.  This sight just allows elevation for approximately 600 yards.  If shooting beyond 600 yards, a standard NM A2 sight can be installed and pinned on the carry handle with the additional modification of a .100" relief cut in the top of the picatinny rail for the additional elevation screw protrusion out of the bottom of the carry handle assembly (see picture below).  Because the A2 NM rear sight also has a taller sight body dimension, it is highly recommended that an "F" height front sight post (.030" higher than standard A2) is added to compliment the rear sight height.  If selected, the cost additional relief cut is $10.  Please call for additional details.
